Ramp Rental FAQs

FAQs

Quick answers on cost, terms, and buying later. If your situation is a little different, we'll sort it out at your free in-home assessment.

How much does it cost to rent a wheelchair ramp?

Portable fold-out ramps rent for $10 per foot per month, so a 10-foot ramp is $100 a month. Full aluminum ramps with handrails rent for 1/12 of the purchase price per month. Both have a two-month minimum and no deposit, and delivery is quoted at your assessment.

How long do I have to keep the ramp?

There's a two-month minimum, and after that it's month to month. Keep it as long as you need it, from a few weeks during recovery to long-term. When you're done, let us know and we'll pick it up. Pickup and removal are included, bundled with delivery.

Can I buy the ramp instead of renting it forever?

Yes. On the full aluminum ramp, every monthly payment can be applied toward owning it, and it converts to rent-to-own after 12 months. If you already know you want to keep a ramp, we can quote you the purchase price instead.

How do you know what size ramp I need?

We measure it for you at the free in-home assessment. A good rule of thumb is that the ramp length in feet roughly matches the rise in inches, so a 24-inch porch usually needs about a 24-foot ramp. We handle the exact sizing and set a safe, gradual slope.
